About caynho1

Cây Nhỏ is a storytelling studio that uses documentary filmmaking and photography to help brands and organizations share authentic values through real stories about people, nature, and change.

We believe that when a story is told with understanding and respect, it naturally connects with people in a deep and lasting way.

Vision & Mission

With years of experience producing different types of media, from television and digital shows to music videos, commercials, feature films, and documentaries, I’ve realized that the heart of communication lies in storytelling and education.

No matter what field you work in, when you truly understand and care about what you do, your work will naturally reach the right people, spread meaningfully, and create real impact.

The heart behind Cây Nhỏ

My name is Lam Hà

I’ve worked as a producer for over ten years with media companies such as HTV3 Dreams TV, Monday Morning Media, VCCorp, and Vietcetera, as well as with major brands like Muji, Pepsi, OMO, Prudential, FWD, Lazada Vietnam, Heineken, and Google.

About caynho2

In 2019, while managing the WeChoice Awards 2020, I had the chance to encounter powerful stories about people, communities, and the environment. Those stories made me realize the true power of storytelling and how it can deeply inspire others.

But I also noticed how few films captured these meaningful moments. I asked myself, “Why not be the one to tell them?” That question marked the beginning of my journey into documentary filmmaking.

Since then, I’ve learned to listen more to my partners, to understand them better, and to tell their stories through patience, observation, and sincerity.

About caynho line

Viewers and clients often tell me that they don’t see our work as just an advertisement or a project video, but as something more—a genuine, emotional story.

I know there are many teams out there who can produce stunning visuals, but what makes Cây Nhỏ different is our dedication to content, empathy for our subjects, and commitment to thoughtful storytelling.

To go deeper, I studied Sociology, which helped me approach stories with a more analytical mindset—understanding people, psychology, behavior, society, and economics. These foundations allow me to create films that are not only beautiful but also honest, grounded, and emotionally resonant.

The name Cây Nhỏ means “Small Tree.”
Just as every forest begins with a single tree, every great story starts from something small, steady, and sincere.

Storytellers who capture the quiet moments of human truth

The Nomads

The Nomads is a documentary filmmaking collective that I’ve been producing for since 2022.

It brings together people who love telling stories through images and believe that every honest story has the power to create positive change.

With over eight years of experience as a reporter at Zing News before turning to documentary filmmaking, Nguyễn Hoàng Việt brings a deep and empathetic perspective to human stories and everyday life.

He aims to bring fresh perspectives to Vietnam’s documentary scene through high-quality productions that explore untold stories and new subjects often overlooked in local documentary filmmaking.

Selected projects: Bình Yên, Về Nào! (Four Paws Vietnam), Ôm Rừng (Save Vietnam’s Wildlife), documentary series for WeChoice Awards (Kenh14.vn), and various other projects.

What We Believe

For us, every project begins as a conversation—a chance to listen, to understand, and to tell a story with respect and empathy.

That is how Cây Nhỏ creates stories that are real, heartfelt, and meaningful.
