This is a Muji Vietnam commercial photoshoot that captures the brand’s simple, refined aesthetic through the lens of Saigon’s everyday life.
Models wore Muji clothing and used its household products in familiar urban settings, reflecting how the brand naturally fits into the local lifestyle.
The project shows how storytelling through imagery can make a global brand feel intimate and relatable, blending Muji’s Japanese minimalism with the warmth and authenticity of Vietnam.
Muji Vietnam – an international lifestyle brand known for its philosophy of simplicity, functionality, and harmony with nature.
Cây Nhỏ served as the production organizer and shoot coordinator, working closely with director and photographer Han Phan to bring Muji’s brand spirit to life in a distinctly Vietnamese way.
The challenge was to portray Muji’s signature calm and simplicity within the context of Vietnam’s everyday life.
The photos needed to make the products feel familiar and attainable while preserving the brand’s authenticity and elegance.
The result is not just a commercial shoot, but a quiet story about warmth, presence, and comfort — told through textures, light, and small moments.

The creative inspiration came from Vietnamese townhouses and family kitchens — spaces that may appear cluttered but are full of personality and life.
Details like the bubble glass cups and plastic stools seen across local cafés and homes became design anchors, connecting Muji’s minimalist identity with local daily life.
The result is not just a commercial shoot, but a quiet story about warmth, presence, and comfort — told through textures, light, and small moments.
The final images embody the gentle, unforced spirit of Muji.
Viewers not only see the products but also feel the lifestyle they represent — calm, refined, and deeply human.
The campaign received positive feedback from both the brand and the creative community, standing out as a model for brand storytelling through photography in Vietnam.


Through this project, Cây Nhỏ learned that when a brand truly embraces local culture and approaches storytelling with sincerity, the message becomes effortlessly emotional and lasting.
